Dharavi Raja & Co

Dharavi Raja & Co was founded in 1980 by N. R. Vijaya Sekaran, a former managing director of Agsar Paints Pvt Ltd, Karnataka. Mr. Vijaya Sekaran started his career as a chemical engineer in 1977, and soon began managing his own salt pan. With his good knowledge and skills, he succeeded in the salt business. In 1980, Mr. Vijaya Sekaran started producing, marketing, and exporting match chemical products to match box factories in Sivakasi, Sattur, Kovilpatti, and Gudiyatham. He exported match chemical products like iron oxide red, manganese dioxide black, silica, and quartz. Over the years, Dharavi Raja & Co gradually expanded its market reach, both within India and in international markets. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction allowed them to establish a strong presence in the marketing and exporting of match chemicals. After making a huge impact on the international market, Dharavi Raja & Co started to market and export other products like match boxes and salts into international markets. Over the years, Dharavi Raja & Co diversified its product range to cater to a broader market. They are now planning to expand their offerings beyond match chemical products to include various industrial chemicals and raw materials required by different sectors.
